BusyBee Events Group recently hosted its 7th Event Business Summit, which saw over 300 participants during the three-day event.The 7th edition of the BusyBee Event Summit, themed “TECH in the Event Business: The New Narratives,” unfolded from November 21-23, 2023. The event kicked off with a Welcome Cocktail Party, titled “White Night in Paris,” offering participants from across the country a night of great cocktails and networking, creating an atmosphere of Parisian allure and networking magic.
In her welcome speech, Coach Bisi Sotunde, the convener of BusyBee Event Business Summit 7.0, expressed gratitude to all participants and welcomed new members to the Well-Watered Garden Tribe (WWGT). The Welcome Party was a night of good food, drinks, music, dance, and reuniting with friends and colleagues.
Day 2 featured the main conference on the theme “TECH IN EVENT BUSINESS: The New Narrative.” Coach Bisi Sotunde emphasized that the summit was a commitment to excellence, merging technology and tradition. She highlighted that attending the BusyBee Event Business Summit 7.0 opened the door to a year with the Well-Watered Garden Tribe (WWTG) Nation, a community focused on collaboration and shared knowledge.
QS Bolaji Sotunde, Chairman of BusyBee Group, delivered a goodwill message, stressing the importance of adapting to and harnessing the power of technology in the rapidly advancing field of event management.
During the keynote speech, Ibrahim Bashir, Show Director of Experiential Planner Expo (EPEX) Dubai, explored the new narratives of TECH in Event Business. This set the stage for Fireside Chats with Mr. Bayo Adedeji, Group CEO Wakanow, and an interactive panel comprising Tobi Olanihun, Chief Experience Officer of WOW Connect Services Ltd; Arese Osakwe, Senior Growth Associate at TIX Africa; Kunmi Ariyo, Founder/CEO of Mirus Events; and Adeife Abiodun Adeyemi, Founder/CEO of Ifective Touch. The masterclass included a breakout session with hands-on experiences in TECHs in Event Business, such as Artificial Intelligence and Content Creation.
The third night featured a Sparkling Soiree, the BusyBee Excellence Awards Night Gala, celebrating excellence in the event industry. The event recognized outstanding contributions with an atmosphere of sparkling splendor, extending beyond the awards to a joyous celebration and networking experience with sophisticated food, drinks, and entertainment.
While the BusyBee Event Business Summit 7.0 may have concluded, the memories will linger, providing over 300 participants with the opportunity to learn, adapt, and embrace technology as an enabler for propelling event business to greater heights.
