The undulating terrains of Erijiyan Ekiti in the Ekiti West Local Government Areas came alive on the 3rd and 4th of October as Madam Eunice Adeniyo was laid to rest in her hometown Erijiyan Ekiti.

Activities of the final burial rites started at the Ekiti State University Teaching Hospital led by Mama Toyin Olounje where the body of Madan Eunice Adeniyo was conveyed in a long motorcade through the beautiful scenery characterized by Ekiti State before arrival at the Erijiyan Ekiti 35 minutes later.

At Erijiyan Ekiti, it was a carnival atmosphere as the remains of Madam Eunice Adeniyo made several stopovers at different family compounds amidst fun fair before finally being laid –in- state at the Iwaro Street residence of Mama Eunice Adeniyo in readiness for a service of songs. This was followed by a well-attended funeral service on Friday, October 4th, at St Paul Anglican Church, Erijiyan Ekiti, before interment at her Iwaro street residence.

At the Olive Royal Academy Secondary School, Ilawe Road, Ekiti, Erijiyan Ekiti where the reception took place. The reception attracted guests from all walks of life who travelled from far and near to pay Mama Eunice Adeniyo their last respect. The colorful reception had in attendance politicians, senior government officials, beautifully dressed ladies from different groups such as Adorable friends, Queen Sisters Club, the Ladies of Hope International and a host of other guests who graced the occasion. The chief host, Mama Toyin Olounje played a good host at the occasion, welcoming guests and ensuring that guests are comfortable served with food drinks and good music.  Below are the pictures of the event:
